Beaver Dredge Relocation

Project Name: Beaver Dredge Relocation – Turnkey Project Management and Oversight.

Location: NW Coast Tasmania

Overview: Sub41 having previously managed the assembly and commissioning of the Beaver Dredge on the tailings dam, were selected as the head contractor to relocate the dredge to another site. This required the coodination of numerous trucks, cranes, subcontracts, preparatory works etc. The dredge was broken down into sections up to 40mT, transported to the new location, lifted and assembled. This required the use of Billings new 400mT crane (its first project) at full capacity to achive the lift radius. Sub41 also managed the new product line installation including shore landing, anchor blocks and modifications to the shore tanks and trommel to receive the new product.
