Lake Leake Barges

Project Name: Modular Barge Charter – Lake Leake

Overview: Sub41’s modular barges were chartered by one of Tasmania’s leading diving companies to support a variety of construction activities at Lake Leake.  The barges made an excellent work platform for diving with vertical access and onsite storage.  Sub41 also made an adjustable work deck so the divers could work mid water with back supports to work on the dam wall which made a huge difference to productivity and diver operations.

We have also designed and fabricated a pin on dolly that allows the barges to be launched and recovered on ramps, minimising crane sizing and de-risking operations.
