Ben inside the clinker hall mid project for refurbishment of the Rill Tower and removal of the ‘Mole’
James and Ben planned and supervised the clinker hall refurbishment project coving 24hrs during the 2024 kiln shutdown. Crisp Bros - Haywards were the primary subcontractor for the works and the project was completed a week ahead of schedule and well under budget. The tower which has been in continual service for 38years had windows, sills and hard facing inspected and repaired; tower legs sleeved, chutes lined and concrete repairs, discharge gates rebuilt and the 200T reclaimer system cut up and removed.
